Exploring the world right from the classroom! 🌎✨

Our 2nd-grade team took collaborative learning to the next level this unit! Working closely with our Instructional Coach, 2nd-grade teachers combined classes to co-teach writing using differentiated scaffolding to support every learner.

To kick off our Informational Text unit on Descriptive Essays—themed “There are many ways to explore the world!”—students connected their learning to real life by sharing photos of places they’ve visited. Using those real-world connections as inspiration, students researched and wrote about exciting new places they hope to visit in the future! ✈️🗺️

We are so proud of our young writers! 💡📚

❤️ Our kindergarten students had an exciting visit to the fire station! ❤️🚒

Our little learners loved exploring the fire truck and ambulance, trying their hand at spraying water, and learning important fire safety tips from our local firefighters. The best part? Each student got to bring their very own fire helmet back to school! 🧑‍🚒👩‍🚒

A huge thank you to our firefighters for taking the time to teach our students, answer their questions, and make learning so much fun! We are so grateful for the people who help keep our community safe! 🚒❤️

Another great week at the Creek!

We celebrated our amazing custodians who work hard to keep our building looking amazing! Our building is 18 years old and people are always commenting at how new it continues to look. Thanks for all of the hard work!

We had a CREW from Mr. Maclin’s class who leveled up and earned letters in the word RESPECT.

And for maybe the most exciting news…the fencing for the track project went up! We can’t wait to see the progress! Stay tuned for updates!!
