🌧️ Week 4 at Camp Trailblazers: Rainy Days & Big Moves! 🌧️
The weather gave us a wet week, but we didn't let a little rain dampen our spirits! We stayed cozy indoors, caught up on some great books, enjoyed movie time, and kept the momentum going behind the scenes. 📚🍿

🎬 Week 3 in the books, and we brought ALL the energy! 🚀
We packed so much action into this week:
🍿 Movie Day: Caught Dog Man at the historic Palace Theatre!
🏛️ History & Dino Discoveries: Explored the New York State Museum, checked out dinosaur fossils, and learned all about our state's rich history.
🎳 Strike a Pose: The competitive spirit was REAL during bowling!
🏎️ Ending on a High Note: Finished off the week with mini-golf, go-karts, and a well-deserved ice cream treat! 🍦
Time is flying, and the kids are having an absolute blast. Can’t wait to see what Week 4 has in store for us! ✨

🌟 Week 2 of Summer Camp: Entrepreneurship, Farm Fun, and Big Adventures! 🌟
What a whirlwind of a week! Our campers absolutely crushed it during Week 2, blending creativity, business savvy, and some classic summer fun. Here is a look at what we got into:
💼 Future CEOs in the Making
This week, the campers officially launched their very own t-shirt business! They brainstormed, collaborated, and came up with the amazing name G.I.R.L.S. Co. Not only did they design shirts, but they also customized their own cups. Watch out world, these young entrepreneurs are stepping into their power!
🍓 Farm Days & Animal Friends
We took a beautiful trip to Indian Ladder Farms to enjoy the sunshine. The campers had the best time picking fresh, juicy blueberries and raspberries straight from the bushes—and, of course, they loved hanging out and playing with the sweet farm animals!
🎬 Double Feature Movie Days
We beat the heat with two awesome movie trips this week:
Tuesday: A nostalgic trip to see Lilo & Stitch 🌴🌺
Friday: Catching the brand-new Toy Story 5! 🤠🚀
📚 Community & Financial Freedom
We made a pit stop at the local library to keep those reading brains active, and we had an incredibly impactful visit to the Connect Center. The campers got a head start on financial literacy, learning all about managing finances, the importance of savings, and how to open a bank account. Plus, they wrapped it up with a little baking fun! 🥖✨
From business plans to berry picking, Week 2 was one for the books. We are so incredibly proud of how much these campers learned, grew, and supported one another this week.

🌿 Week 1 Recap: Nature, Science, & Big Adventures! 🦖
Our first week of Camp Trailblazers was an absolute blast, and the kids were bursting with excitement every single day! From the moment they arrived, their energy and curiosity set the tone for an unforgettable summer.
We packed our week with incredible hands-on learning and exploration:
Five Rivers Environmental Education Center: We started the week with an immersive adventure exploring the great outdoors.
Peebles Island & Pine Bush: The campers brought their high energy to some beautiful scenic trails and fascinating local ecosystems.
The Library: We took a special trip to dive into books about bugs, talk all about flowers, and learn about the beautiful world of butterflies.
miSci Museum: We wrapped up our science adventures checking out the awesome interactive exhibits and, of course, getting up close with the dinosaurs!
The kids had the best time discovering the wonders of nature and science together, and their enthusiasm made week one a massive success. We can't wait to see what the rest of the summer brings!
