🌟 Week 2 of Summer Camp: Entrepreneurship, Farm Fun, and Big Adventures! 🌟
What a whirlwind of a week! Our campers absolutely crushed it during Week 2, blending creativity, business savvy, and some classic summer fun. Here is a look at what we got into:
💼 Future CEOs in the Making
This week, the campers officially launched their very own t-shirt business! They brainstormed, collaborated, and came up with the amazing name G.I.R.L.S. Co. Not only did they design shirts, but they also customized their own cups. Watch out world, these young entrepreneurs are stepping into their power!
🍓 Farm Days & Animal Friends
We took a beautiful trip to Indian Ladder Farms to enjoy the sunshine. The campers had the best time picking fresh, juicy blueberries and raspberries straight from the bushes—and, of course, they loved hanging out and playing with the sweet farm animals!
🎬 Double Feature Movie Days
We beat the heat with two awesome movie trips this week:
Tuesday: A nostalgic trip to see Lilo & Stitch 🌴🌺
Friday: Catching the brand-new Toy Story 5! 🤠🚀
📚 Community & Financial Freedom
We made a pit stop at the local library to keep those reading brains active, and we had an incredibly impactful visit to the Connect Center. The campers got a head start on financial literacy, learning all about managing finances, the importance of savings, and how to open a bank account. Plus, they wrapped it up with a little baking fun! 🥖✨
From business plans to berry picking, Week 2 was one for the books. We are so incredibly proud of how much these campers learned, grew, and supported one another this week.
