saw this lil nugget out of place on a shelf and it struck me, while grocery shopping this wknd.

So I bought it.
not cause I needed another bottle, but because first of all, the contrasting colors are just gorgeous…yet just as striking, the msg is timely.

Jumped on my weekly zoom mtg rt after returning home, and what was one of the nuggets from the meeting this week?
Choosing joy.

The Father’s heart is.
It’s then and only then, that sanctification happens.
He purifies us.
Refines us.
Chase His heart.

“He had compassion”
…one of the most amazing, yet unassuming phrases in the Bible.
We so often miss the significance of it.

Jesus was the embodiment of compassion.
Our perfect example.
He ministered, healed, suffered, bled AND died BECAUSE…He had compassion.

And He was first sent, because the Father, Yahweh God…HAD COMPASSION for us, His precious Creation, whom He loves and took pity on.
Despite our folly and error, He was still moved by compassion.

Compassion, is love…in action.
It lead Him to save us from ourselves.
And it needs to spur us on to action as well.
…to be like Jesus in this world, we must have it as well.

When He stepped ashore and saw a large crowd, He had compassion on them and healed their sick.
- matthew 14:14

I feel compassion for the people because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat. If I send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way; and some of them have come from a great distance
- mark 8:2-3

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience
- colossians 3:12
