The 5 most pathetic things a grown man can do:

1. “I have to ask my wife.”

You’ve been struggling with your weight, energy, confidence, and health for YEARS… but now you need permission to invest in fixing it?

There’s a difference between discussing finances with your wife and asking permission to take care of yourself.

If you know you need help, be a grown ma. Make the decision yourself. Stop treating your own health like something you need a permission slip for.

2. Skipping workouts because you’re “not feeling it.”
You don’t get s**t done in life if you only do it when you feel good. Motivation is a bonus. Consistency is the requirement.

3. Fearing carbs.
It’s 2026. The zero-carb-is-the-answer-to-everything fad can die now.
Eat some fu***ng rice.

4. Calling yourself an “alpha.”

Why is it that every dude screaming about being an alpha is 30% body fat and hasn’t trained consistently since the Bush administration?

Nobody needs to announce they’re an alpha.

5. Your switch kick.

Your switch kick looks like a little girl trying to throw a baseball with her left hand because you’ve spent your entire life only kicking with your good side.

And while we’re at it…

Stop letting the media keep you permanently pi**ed off and distracted by s**t you have almost zero control over.

This includes social media.

You’re being emotionally manipulated.

Train. Eat well.
Build something.
Handle your s**t.

And for the love of God…

Practice your fu***ng switch kick. 🥊

The Aeta Taught Me How to Survive in the Jungle

If you were stranded in the Philippine jungle, would you know how to find drinking water?

No bottles. No matches. No survival kit.

The Aeta taught me how to find water inside jungle vines, make fire using nothing but bamboo, hunt for food and survive using knowledge passed down through generations.

I spent 48 hours living alongside them trying to learn as much as I could.

Turns out the jungle provides a lot — if you actually know where to look.

I Was the First Foreigner They Dressed as an Aeta Warrior

They told me they had never done this for a foreigner before.

After spending 48 hours living with the Aeta tribe in the Philippines, learning their survival skills and way of life, they honored me by allowing me to wear their traditional warrior clothing.

It was easily one of the greatest honors I’ve experienced while traveling the world.

You’re Not Stuck. You’re Just Not Done Yet.

The hardest part of building a better body, business, or life is continuing when the results haven’t caught up to the work yet.

Most people quit in that gap.

Stay in the fight long enough, and things change.

Got shoulder mobility issues?
Try this. 👆

But here’s the bigger point…

Good coaching is a hell of a lot more than sets, reps, and macros.

You can Google a workout.

You can download a meal plan.

You can ask an app to calculate your calories and macros in about 30 seconds.

That’s information. That’s not coaching.

Real coaching means understanding the person standing in front of you.

Sometimes that means improving mobility, movement quality, strength, and working around aches and pains so someone can actually train consistently instead of constantly beating themselves up.

But that’s only the physical side.

The bigger work is often figuring out the mindset, lifestyle, habits, stress, expectations, and accountability behind everything they’re doing.

Because the “perfect” training and nutrition plan is completely fu***ng useless if it doesn’t fit the person’s body, schedule, capabilities, or life.

After years of doing this, one thing becomes very clear:

People rarely need more information. They need someone who knows how to apply the right information to THEM.

That’s the difference between getting a plan…

…and actually being coached.

THERE’S AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY INSIDE THIS BRIDGE. 🇵🇭

And I mean **INSIDE** the bridge.

I entered a tunnel beneath a bridge in Manila and found people living in a place thousands probably pass every day without knowing what exists inside.

It would be easy to walk in with assumptions about poverty, danger or what life here must be like.

Then you actually meet the people.

You talk to them.

You laugh with them.

And suddenly it stops being some crazy place you found on Google Maps and becomes somebody’s home.

From here, I headed across Manila for a completely different experience training Yaw-Yan Filipino kickboxing.

THE PHILIPPINES HAS ITS OWN KICKBOXING STYLE 🇵🇭

And somehow almost nobody outside the country talks about it.

Yaw-Yan.

I walked into a Yaw-Yan gym in Manila having never trained the art before.

What I found was something that felt strangely familiar as a Muay Thai guy — but with its own kicking style, movement and Filipino identity.

The training was fantastic.

But the people were even better.

Welcoming, accommodating and genuinely excited to share their martial art with me.

These are the experiences I travel for.

WHY HAS NOBODY HEARD OF THIS MARTIAL ART? 🇵🇭🥊

It’s called Yaw-Yan — a Filipino style of kickboxing that feels like Muay Thai and Taekwondo had a violent little Filipino baby.

Except they removed most of the fancy bulls**t.

Coming from Muay Thai, I felt at home almost immediately.

Hard training. Great coaching. Great people.

And by the end of it, I’d made some genuine friends at a gym I absolutely plan on returning to.

Filipino martial arts go WAY beyond Kali and Eskrima.
