Dragon Arts Karate has been named the best martial arts school by the local Gresham newspaper according to voters. There's a few funny things about this. For one I didn't even know it was a thing and never campaigned. Also the town my school is in is not Gresham and Troutdale is tiny compared to it. 15,000 versus 100,000 people. Finally it's one of the smaller martial arts schools in the area. But hey, I'll take it. Free advertising and they're going to do an article about the school too!

Congrats to our new 5 kyu and 6 kyu green belts! At this high intermediate level it takes a lot of work to get promoted to the next belt.
