paper-making + other snippets from ‘26 Land Art Residency at The Verdancy Project - second slide: July workshop with Shannon!

very grateful for (beautiful) space and time to introduce more play and research into my practice. so far, I’ve mostly utilized this residency to learn/discover new processes, to collect site-sourced fibres and pigments, to test materials, to observe/document through writing, drawing, and weaving, and to get into mud and pulp! Final weeks will be spent printing :)

Sooth your nervous system with a calming forest bathing welk led by Julie at Earthbody Presence and then forage flowers from around the property and create a beautiful arrangement to take home. Spent the last week working in the sweet studio and beautiful land that is The Verdancy Project! One more day left but then I’m back again week after next. Looking forward to letting things percolate before getting back to it.

Update on our call for submissions.

We don’t want to leave anyone out, so we’re adding an option.

If mailing your letter isn’t accessible to you — no postal service, or postage cost is a barrier — you can email your letter instead. A photo of a handwritten letter is preferred, but a typed submission is also welcome.

If you can mail your letter, we still ask that you do. This option is here for the people who genuinely can’t.
