🏁 Math + NASCAR = a winning combination! Our 5th graders kicked off their learning about comparing decimal fractions with a fun, real-world NASCAR experience.

First, students watched part of a NASCAR race. Then they made predictions about who would win the race based on their observations. Next, students got to view the finial race times and could adjust their predictions, as needed. Lastly, they watched the end of the raced to see if their prediction was right. Fun was had for all!

Fourth grade students rotated through different classrooms to participate in a variety of hands-on puzzles and challenges during Think-A-Palooza. Think-A-Palooza encourages collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of learning through engaging STEM activities and creative, hands-on tasks. Students worked together to think critically, communicate ideas, and persevere through fun and challenging experiences.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTA for showering us with thoughtful treats, delicious goodies, fun surprises, and so much kindness all week long. From the beautiful setups to the drinks, snacks, meals, charcuterie boxes, and thoughtful gifts — every detail made us feel appreciated and celebrated. We are also LOVING our new Bulldog shirts! 💛💜🩵🩷
