1. The Solar Car team would like to thank everyone for the cheers and support last night at meet the Bobcat. I would like to take a moment to let everyone know that as a Club we are self-funded. We were able to accomplish a national title with some dedicated kids and parents. Through fund raising at Sonic, a small corporate donation (thank you Paula), A family covering part of the shortfall and a golf... tournament we were able to get everyone to CA and back safely. That said we are currently operating in the red and could really use some Corporate backing. We are a nonprofit so any corporate donations are tax deductible. We can have logo's incorporated into the wrap that is currently on the vehicle. In the last two months we have been on Various news broadcasts and have also been in multiple news publications. Anyone looking into green initiatives or looking to invest in the lives of our children here is your chance. We will continue to fundraise at Sonic as long as they will let us throughout the year so please stop by if you see the car out front. We look forward to trying to defend our title next year. The race is right here in our own backyard at Texas Motor Speedway. Thank you again for all of your support.
