Looking to plant or improve a windbreak for your farm or acreage?
Bremer County Extenion and Fayette County 4-H and ISU Extension and Outreach are hosting a Windbreak School from 9-1 on Thursday, August 13th at the Mike Meyer Construction and Farm at 1781 Viking Rd, just north of Buck Creek. With many now nearing 40+ years old, this field day will show plans to plant or manage yours, plus cost share options available. Learn from specialists while walking through his current windbreak. No cost and light meal included.

We are moving the goat and Sheep obstacle course to the swine barn today at 10 AM. 🐑 🐐

And communication day and working exhibits will be inside.

Hello 4-H Families!!

With the Combine Demo Derby being moved to Sunday, August 2nd at 1PM, we are moving our livestock/static release times and Fair Clean Up times.

Livestock/Static Release will now be Sunday, August 2nd from 6:30AM-8:30AM. All animals and projects must be removed by 8:30AM.

If your club is assigned to Fair Clean Up, please be at the fairgrounds at 8:30AM, we will meet in the Leistikow Family Event Center. Fair Clean Up will be from 8:30AM-10:00AM.

If you have any questions, please stop by our fair office!

With the anticipation of more rain tonight, the large amount of rain already received, and a very wet track and parking area, the Bremer County Fair Board has made the decision to POSTPONE the Combine Demolition Derby to Sunday August 2nd at 1:00pm. All Tickets bought in advance are still valid and will be taken at the gate. Select Food Vendors will also be open Sunday for the event and the Royal Legacy Circus will add a bonus performance at 12pm on Sunday!

Wildcard will be canceled for tonight as well. DJ Derrek will spin some tunes and the adult beverages will remain open. Everything else is currently still on track as scheduled but may be postponed or cancelled once it starts to rain again. Updates to the schedule will be posted at www.BremerCountyFair.com and here on our page.
