Montessori is a unique educational approach that nurtures a child’s intrinsic desire to learn. Montessori focuses on the whole child — cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Introducing your child to Montessori as early as possible puts her on the right path to becoming a confident, self-motivated learner. Our program will provide exploratory, self-directed learning for young children following the world renowned Montessori curriculum. Our new school will provide a vibrant and nurturing environment for the children, teachers and parents, where children will learn in an authentic Montessori environment with Montessori materials where children will enjoy learning. In addition to academics, our program will provide art, music, and foreign language, instructed by professionally trained and certified Montessori teachers.

What a fun and busy week of learning!

Our YCP friends celebrated Johnny Appleseed and enjoyed learning through hands-on activities connected to the theme. Our shape of the week was the star ⭐, and our color of the week was pink 🩷.
The children also had fun in the kitchen! They created adorable piggies using rice cakes, strawberry cream cheese, and fruit.

We also had a special visit from the Pasco Sheriff's Office! 🚔 Our friends learned important crosswalk and pedestrian safety tips, including how to safely cross the street and why it is important to pay attention and follow safety rules.

In our Pre-Primary classrooms, the children continued building their Montessori skills by reviewing odd and even numbers, exploring the planets, and working with the decimal system.
They also practiced with number beads and the Teen Board, strengthening their understanding of numbers and quantities. We also introduced the Trinomial Cube, giving the children an opportunity to explore patterns, sequencing, concentration, and problem-solving through hands-on work.

It was a wonderful week filled with learning, creativity, community, and discovery! We are so proud of all the children and the progress they continue to make each day. 💕
