An Important Message From Our Admin:
Trailblazer Families,
We have received several questions from families whose students walk home independently regarding our Rainy Day Dismissal procedures. To help clarify, a more accurate term would be “Lightning Day Dismissal,” as our dismissal procedures are based on the presence of lightning within a 6-mile radius, not rain alone.
If there is rain but no lightning in the area, students who are designated as walkers will be dismissed according to their normal dismissal plan. However, if families prefer not to have their child walk home in rainy weather, they may submit a Shuttle Pass/Change of Dismissal request to have their student dismissed as a car rider for that day.
The Shuttle Pass link can be found on the TES website. Please note that all change of dismissal requests must be submitted by 2:00 p.m.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion regarding our dismissal procedures. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Principal Bracciale
