The Trinidad Trojans take on Tyler Heat tomorrow night at Trojan Field. Kick off for the junior high is at 5:00 with Varsity to follow at 7:30. The pep rally starts at 2:00!

Update!!! Trojans, we are remaining in contact with the workers on site repairing the leak. As a precaution, we will put out a post at 6:00 AM determining if we will have a regular or late start in the morning. TISD thanks everyone working hard to resolve the issue.

Important!!!
We are continuously monitoring the water and are in close contact with those working to repair it. As for now, school will remain in session until further notice. Bottled water will be provided by the school to students through the offices. Important alerts and any changes to our operating hours will be communicated through TISD social media and text system. Thank you for your support and flexibility.

Exciting news!!! Thank you to everyone for filling up your tank during the Zippy J's fundraiser. We would like to thank Zippy J's ownership and management for donating $12,500 to go towards staff and student incentives at TISD! Also, a huge thank you to Danel and her crew for supporting our school and being a part of our TROJAN FAMILY. Be sure to thank them the next time you stop by!

Trojans, TISD is excited to introduce something NEW at our school district — our House System!

This year, every student and staff member at Trinidad will become part of one of four houses:

House Empathy — Caring for others and understanding their perspectives.
House Courage — Facing challenges with strength and determination.
House Integrity — Doing what is right, even when no one is watching.
House Unity — Coming together, supporting one another, and working as one.

This week, our entire school got to spin the House Wheel and find out what house they will belong to for the entire year.

Each month, houses will come together for special meetings, activities, and opportunities to connect, build relationships, and create a stronger school community. A house point system will be put in place to add a little friendly competition throughout the year. Houses will have opportunities to earn points through participation, activities, challenges, school spirit, and demonstrating the values that make each house special. At the end of the year, we’ll see which house can rise to the top! Our House System is about more than just which house you belong to. It’s about building connections, developing character, celebrating one another, and creating a sense of belonging for every student and staff member.

Trojans, our athletic department is currently accepting donations of laundry detergent and/or bath towels. If you are able, you can drop them off at the gate when you head to the football scrimmage this Thursday at Trojan Field. If you aren't able, no worries! We still hope to see you there. Our athletic department thanks you for your help and support. We start at 6:00!
