born WORTHY. is not just something we say at , it is the within the foundation of everything we teach. Before a girl master a subject, she must first master the knowledge of herself.
Our curriculum is built on the understanding that every girl who walks through our doors already carries everything she needs within her. Our job is to make sure she knows it, believes it, and lives it.
This is not a motivational phrase. This is our academic philosophy woven into every course, every experience, and every interaction our students have here. She was born worthy and we remind her every day.

At Timbuk2 Academy, girlhood is honored across every stage of development, from our early childhood learners to our young adult women. For many Black and brown girls, girlhood is often rushed, overlooked, or taken away too soon. Through our curriculum, we make sure our girls have the space to experience it fully. A holistic education considers both the inner life and the external world our girls navigate every day.

This Memorial Day, Timbuk2 Academy pauses to honor all who have served and sacrificed in defense of this nation. Their courage and commitment deserve our deepest respect and gratitude. 🕯️
We also pause to honor the full truth of history. The first Decoration Day was not declared by a general or a government. It was organized by Black Americans in Charleston, South Carolina, in 1865, on the grounds of a former Confederate prison, as an act of dignity, remembrance, and moral clarity.
At Timbuk2 Academy, we are committed to an education that does not omit, that does not simplify, and that prepares our students to engage the world with both knowledge and integrity.
