Today, October 12th, educators from Southwest and St. Patrick Elementary continued their LETRS training journey, deepening their understanding of the science of reading and how students learn to read.
Throughout Unit 2, educators explore the speech sounds of English, phonological processing, all 44 English phonemes, and phonemic awareness. They’re gaining practical strategies to strengthen foundational reading instruction and use data to better support student learning.

Today we celebrate one of the world's most enduring and intellectually stimulating games! Whether you're a Grandmaster, a casual player, or a complete beginner, National Chess Day is the perfect time to explore the board.
Did you know that playing chess has benefits far beyond the 64 squares? It develops critical thinking, problem-solving, and patience.
Here are a few ways you can celebrate:
1️⃣ Play a Game: Challenge a friend, family member, or colleague to a match.

Last week, Planning Region Team #15 was excited to take part in the Hayes Center Homecoming Parade! 🏫🎊
Our team proudly supports children, families, and schools throughout the region through a variety of services, including the Early Development Network (EDN).
👶 Early Development Network connects families of infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities to early intervention services and supports. These services help children build important skills and give families resources and guidance during the early years.
Our Planning Region Team #15 services include:

✨ Speech-Language Therapy
