Wanted to take a minute and let you know how Cindy Meek Glidewell is doing. She does have a brain tumor. It is a stage 4 cancer. If you would like to have her address please text or send a message. Here it goes- in summary- Cindy’s cancer is glioblastoma stage 4. It is uncurable. She will begin radiation treatments in 2 weeks which means she will do them Monday- Friday for 6 weeks at st Luke’s on plaza they will stay down there during the week at the Hope place St Luke’s has and come home Friday afternoons til Sunday every week. After radiation is completed she will then take a chemo pill. 🙏🙏🙏. I saw her today and she is trying to stay positive. If you want to join me on Thursday 13th at the Sip at 5. She would love to see you. She is trying to just enjoy life. We love you Cindy 💕

An update on Cindy. Kim and I went and saw her today. She knew who we were and could put together short sentences. They are working on her walking. If she continues to improve: she may get to come home in a day or two. The doctor came in when we were there. Her head was hurting really bad. He said the third day is usually the hardest with the swelling. Hopefully by tomorrow or Wednesday that will get better. She is in pretty good spirits and just wants it to be over. Thank you all for your continual prayers.

From Jenny- Mom did pretty good yesterday she’s improving on her speech and communication but it’s going to be a slow process which is expected so don’t be offended if she can’t remember your name she recognizes people she just can’t remember names and her communication is all mixed up she knows what she wants to say but when she goes to say it doesn’t always make sense and that’s common. She will be moved to a normal room today but I don’t know what time or when that’s going g to take place. Continue prayers 🙏

From Jenny-Mom is in recovery and surgery went as expected she did well. This is from Cindy Meek Glidewell daughter. Pray for her next step to recovery. Will try to keep you updated. We love you Cindy. 💓

From Jenny(Cindy’s daughter)- Mom does have a brain tumor and is having surgery October 17 to remove what they can safely. They can’t remove all of it because of where it’s located and the after effects it would have such as loosing speech and vision and paralysis.

We won’t know till after her operation, it’s step by step they can remove most of it with this operation and then possibly some chemo but we won’t know anything till after the operation and then they meet with a team and come up with the best options for us. All from Jenny( Cindy’s daughter). Let's keep Cindy in our prayers.

What a great turn out over the weekend for the class reunion. I believe there were around 50 classmates with Friday and Saturday. It was good to hear from so many people about their family and what was going on in their life. Please continue to pray for those who have illnesses and couldn't come. Already talking about another reunion in 5 years. God bless each one and your family. 💓

Wow the turn out last night at Blackwater was great. If I counted correctly I believe we had 30 classmates there. It was awesome to visit and get to know the classmates families. Looking forward to seeing even more classmates today. Not too late to come. We will start gathering at noon. Please come and join us.
