This summer, we were fortunate to have Skylar Dudley, an intern from NC State University, join our team! 💚

Skylar assisted our Jones County 4-H Agent, Samantha Bennett, with 4-H Summer Fun camps and was always willing to lend a helping hand with county events and other office activities. Thanks to her hard work, we were able to offer even more opportunities for Jones County youth this summer.

We're also excited to share that Skylar received the Distinguished Poster Presentation Award at this year's Extension Summer Internship Showcase - an honor awarded to only a select few interns across the state!

Even better, Skylar will be staying with us a little longer as a temporary, part-time 4-H Program Assistant. 🎉🙌

Congratulations, Skylar, on this well-deserved recognition! 🍀

Join Jones County Cooperative Extension this fall for a cooking and meal planning series designed to help you save time, reduce food waste and stretch your food budget. Whether you're feeding a busy family, cooking for one or simply looking for fresh ideas in the kitchen, these hands on classes will provide practical skills you can use right away.
