Vacation Gym 2 -

This was the closest non-commercial gym to my location for the week, and the owner Mitch was more than welcoming.

Tucked away in a small-bay industrial property, it started as a single bay of stored equipment. Following the plandemic it became a functional gym. When next door became available it was expanded into two sections of Florida dry heat and iron bliss making up a classic clanging old school gym.

On one side you have Mitch's pride and joy - "The Leg Room". On the other, you have all the equipment and weights you need if you regularly skip leg day.

Vacation Gym 1 -

This isn't just a gym, it's a museum. It would take weeks if not months to get to know and enjoy all of the equipment here.

Almost any specialty machine and historical prototype you can think of is housed inside this old K-Mart building. From one large main gym, 3-4 old office rooms full of equipment, and a stock room for strong men, to a hallway leading to a museum of meathead artifacts.

If you're anywhere near Mableton, GA just outside of Atlanta it's worth the stop.
