➕Our 2nd graders were busy in math today! 🐝 Working in pairs Mrs. Whitlow’s students explored collections, made plans, and communicated their thinking. ✨
This activity encouraged our Yellow Jackets to think beyond simply counting one-by-one and begin recognizing the power of organizing and grouping quantities to count efficiently. 💜💛

Small But Mighty, BIG Community Support! 💜💛
A huge thank you to White Oak Baptist Church for loving on our Davis Elementary family! Today, they delivered handwritten cards and a gift card for every teacher and staff member. What a thoughtful reminder that our community sees us, supports us, and appreciates all that happens at Davis each day. We are so grateful for your kindness, generosity, and continued support! 🐝💜💛
