Dinner & a Movie Night is back, and this one is a good one.
Join us Tuesday, July 28 at 5:30 p.m. at 33 Tucker Street for a free meal with Chef Pearl and a screening of "Farming While Black."
The documentary follows Leah Penniman and the team at Soul Fire Farm in upstate New York as they train a new generation of Black and Brown farmers and work to reclaim a heritage of land stewardship that was taken from their ancestors. It is a film about food, history and what it takes to build something that lasts. Fitting, since we will be watching it just steps from our own Tucker Street garden.
Dinner is free. All are welcome. Space is limited, so please RSVP to [email protected].
