Trenton FFA was well represented at the 98th Florida FFA State Convention! 🌟

At the beginning of the week, our Creed Speaker Molly McKenzie and our Conduct of Chapter Meetings team competed in their respective preliminaries and did an awesome job! Team members included Avaree Welbers, Kennedy Marlo, Tinley Turner, Molly McKenzie, Addi Hilty, Alaina Dewitz, and Emma Reeves!

In Session 1, previous Trenton FFA advisor and supporter, Mrs. Michelle Walker-Crawford was inducted into the Florida FFA Hall of Fame! What an incredible honor for her!

In Session 2, our senior chapter was recognized for receiving the Chapter SAE Award!

In Session 3, our 10 proficiency finalists were recognized with the following students being named winners:
-Olivia Weaver, Agriculture Mechanics - Design & Fabrication
-Kelsey Wilkerson, Fiber & Oil Crop Production
-Mackenzie Fisher, Speciality Animal Production

Their applications will be submitted to the national level for review!

In Session 4, Kelsey Wilkerson and Hayden Henderson were recognized as finalists for the State Star Greenhand Award, where Hayden was named the 2026 Florida FFA Star Greenhand!

In Session 5, Mikayla Meyers was recognized as a Florida FFA State Degree recipient!

In Session 6, our Farm & Agribusiness Management team was recognized for placing 2nd in the state earlier this school year!

In Session 7, our Agricultural Issues Forum LDE team was named State Runner Up with their presentation on AI in Livestock Production! Team members include Tyler Bullis, Logan Marlo, Hayden Henderson, Lukys Benson, Noah Owens, Kelsey Wilkerson, and Baylor Gore.

We are incredibly grateful to our community of supporters that have made this year and this convention possible for our students. Congratulations to all of our members!
