We dropped off a bouquet of some of our homegrown irises, peonies, and snowballs at Cedarhurst Senior Living of Highland, Illinois to say thank you. The residents enjoyed our travelogue and had many great questions.

Spring flower sales are going well. We have everything that's currently available posted on Facebook marketplace.

Thanks to all of our area gardeners, we have raised enough money for an additional community garden slash orchard. This means so much to remote communities without a good access to fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables.

ISO: Donations of used e-readers, Chromebooks, laptops, and cases. These will be wiped clean and repurposed for use in the classroom. We will be purchasing copies of bilingual spanish/english e-books for children of all levels, so each school can have an amazing selection of books for the students to read.

Your donation is tax-deductible if you itemize. Please let us know if you would like a tax receipt for your donation. Companies are welcome to collect tablets and e-readers for a donation receipt as well.

We are also looking for a couple of cords for Samsung Chromebooks as some were donated without cords this year. (Chromebook Charger Compatible with Samsung Laptop 12V 2.2A 26W Charger Compatible with Samsung 11.6")

Thanks in advance for making the gift of reading a possibility for children in remote regions who have very limited access to books or to libraries!

We encourage community gardening in the slums and villages where we work in Nicaragua. The concept that people can easily grow nutritious food on their own in a sustainable manner is a key.
