How do you summarized thoughts after 17 years in business?!?! Today marks 17 years since Chad and I became the official owners of Sweet Peas and I have struggled all day trying to organize my thoughts and feelings.

Being a small business owner is hard. It involves 110% of your time, thoughts, and effort. Owning a small business involving small children raises the stakes even higher. There have been many days that I have just given into tears of sadness, frustration and disappointment.

BUT then there are many days I have gone home with tears of laughter and gratefulness. There are days I go home with the handprints on me from all the hugs, slobber on my cheeks from kisses, and even tear stains on my shoulder from comforting a sad little one (or some big ones).

Through it all, God has been faithful through it all. He has held our hands as we walked this path and He will continue to sustain us as we journey on and continue in our ministry of caring for little ones.

Lamentations 3:22-23 "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."

Thank you Jesus!

PS. If you have a picture of a memory of your time at Sweet Peas, please post it below!
