If you haven't seen it yet, there is a closing concert on Sunday, January 5th, 3 p.m. at Robbinsville High School. Mark your calendar and come out! The message of searching and following the light will resonant with you for the days ahead in 2020!

This program is great for listeners of all ages.

CCC Singers range in age from 5 years old through active senior adults. The music spans from contemporary, spirituals and even an opportunity for audience members to join the CCC in the singing of the Hallelujah Chorus! There is signing, drama, narration and video on the big screen -- in addition to the wonderful singing!

Come and tap into the light of Christmas!

The Christmas Peace Light from the grotto in Bethehem built on the location where it is believed Jesus was actually born, will be present at each of our concerts.

Audience members will have the opportunity to take this Peace Light with them following the concert. Truly Jesus came to be the light of the world!

If you’d like to sing with us at any of the upcoming concerts, please let us know. Mp3 practice traxs are available and can be sent to you via e-mail. Word Sheets are also available. Limited Sheet music is available.

We have several remaining rehearsals. If you would like to sing through the song(s) you will plan to participate in, with the choir at one of these rehearsals, please contact us. email: [email protected]

We will also have a special welcoming rehearsal on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 4th to get ready for the Jan. 5th special Anniversary Concert. This will be an opportunity to rehearse and to gather together with other alumnae friends.

Over the past 25 years, the choirs have performed more than 350 concerts; more than 1000 singers have participated in the children’s and adult choirs; more than 1100 songs have been performed, and more than $260,000 has been raised for worthwhile charities such as Anchor House, Interfaith Caregivers, Trenton Soup Kitchen, Urban Promise, Special Olympics, Team Mia, Mt. Carmel Guild, and many, many others.

OPENINGS FOR SINGERS AGES CHILDREN - ADULT

The Community Christian Choir is preparing for its 50th season of innovative, spirit-filled Christian music programming and is inviting new singers and alumni to join in the fun.

Choir organizers will register new and returning singers from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 6 at the Hamilton Square Presbyterian Church, 3550 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ 08690. Registration for singers who are new to the choir is discounted by 50 percent. Registration will continue on Sunday, Sept. 8, 2:30 – 5:30 at Pond Road Middle School in Robbinsville, NJ

The choir, made up of more than 100 children and adults, is known throughout Central New Jersey for its inspiring performances, filled with multimedia, sign language and dramatic touches to drive home to message of the Gospel.

The members will present a series of benefit concerts in December at several area locations. To date the choir has raised more than $259,000 for worthwhile area charities through their concert series.

The CCC is made up of singers from many Christian denominations representing more than 45 churches throughout New Jersey and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Church affiliation, however, is not a requirement for membership in the choir. The choir has both adult and children divisions which sing a variety of music ranging from traditional to contemporary Christian music.

The children’s choir has divisions for children ranging from 6 years old to 12th grade. Singers are placed according to experience, ability, and commitment to ensure each singer’s success. The children’s divisions rehearse Sunday afternoons and evenings at the Pond Road Middle School in Robbinsville, NJ. The first rehearsal will be Sunday, Sept. 8. Rehearsal times can be found on their website www.ccchoir.com.

The adult choir is not auditioned and has three divisions to accommodate rehearsal commitments and experience. Rehearsals are Friday evenings at the Hamilton Square Presbyterian Church. Practice tracks are provided for registered singers. Music reading ability is helpful but not required.
