Dade County Academic Foundation

It’s that time of year again where we ask the community to come together to support our local Dade County High School graduates. Your donation will provide an avenue for these students to be able to alleviate the cost of a portion of their college expenses. Our scholarship program through the Dade County Academic Foundation (DCAF) is funded by generous donors/local businesses and the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga. We are honored to be able to do this each year. Please like, share and follow our page if you or someone you know will be graduating from Dade County High School. Dade County High School class night is approaching fast.

We are working diligently to provide scholarships to be used towards books, and class materials for our graduating students.

These scholarships are usually in the amount of $500. We often have businesses that donate less than that and we pool those scholarships together to make one scholarship. All funds for these scholarships are sent directly to the college of the student’s choice.

Are there any businesses or people who would like to donate and be recognized at our class night? All donations are a tax write off as we are a 501c3 non-profit organization. You may contact Heather Stephens for more information.

We are able to provide multiple scholarships each year because of CFGC. The work they do is because of donors and we are so very thankful.

The Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) from strategic communications and marketing firms who share our vision for transforming generosity into lasting change.
