I will be starting my 10th year this year and I hope it is the best one yet. We finished our biggest project to date, the Tiny House, it was a success, and we hope to build another one this next year.

We are looking for sponsors for the 2026-2027 school year. If you know any businesses, organizations, corporations, or even individuals that might be interested please let me know.

Each school year we have over 150 students in our program and we have several of these students that go directly into the Construction Trades industry right out of high school.

I am finishing up my 9th year at Dade County High School Official and Edna is finishing up her 2nd year at Davis Elementary School

I am so glad that we are both able to work in the same district now at Dade County Schools, Trenton, GA

My students just finished our largest project and I am already looking forward to next year.

Davis welcomed her in and they treat her like family, she absolutely loves working with kids and she said there are some really good people at Davis.

Thank you Dade County for letting us be a part of your kids education.

Tiny House update:

Well we have 1 day of school left and just a little bit of trim work remains. My students are so excited that they “Built a House” in Shop Class. All of my 73 students this semester played a part in this project. This was our largest project to date and I am happy to say it turned out great.

I want to give a Huge Thank you to Monda Wooten for her tremendous support of our students and our program.

I also want to thank Handyman Salvage, Collin’s Building Materials, Bottom Dollar Tools, ACE Hardware of Trenton, Home Depot and Lowe’s. Each one of these businesses supports our students and our program.

And I want to send a thank you to everyone that follows us, shares our posts, and supports us with all of our projects. We still have pallets that need to go! Come get 1 or 100. We have to get rid of these pallets ASAP

The DCHS parking lot is going to be redone this summer and ALL of these pallets got to go. We will help you load them just come get them.

Help us get rid of them, great for campfires over the summer.
