NJRHA recently had the opportunity to meet with Lieutenant Governor Dr. Dale Caldwell for a productive discussion on the issues shaping New Jersey’s restaurant and hospitality industry.

We appreciate the Lt. Governor taking the time to hear directly from industry leaders and engage in a thoughtful conversation about workforce development, economic growth, tourism, and the policies impacting hospitality businesses across the state.

We look forward to continuing to work with the Administration to support and strengthen New Jersey’s hospitality community.

Cocktails-to-go became a popular and successful option for both restaurants and consumers during the pandemic, with more than 30 states now permanently allowing the concept.

Senate Bill 4384, introduced today by Senator Vin Gopal, would make cocktails-to-go a permanent option for licensed New Jersey establishments while maintaining important safeguards, including sealed containers and age verification.

NJRHA supports this commonsense measure that provides convenience for consumers, supports local businesses, and creates an important revenue opportunity for restaurants.

Golf for a cause with the New Jersey Restaurant Educational Foundation! We're seeking golfers and sponsors for a day of fun on Monday, June 22, at the Cobblestone Creek Country Club.
