Mercer County Community College Youth Department was present last night at the 43rd Urban League Guild Gentlemen's Ball in Princeton. Congratulations to our wonderful students Destiny Weldon and Emari Hebert-Wheeler for their participation. They looked very beautiful last night.

Big news 📣 out of Trenton Central High School ❤️🖤

TCHS students working with ACT-SO of New Jersey just qualified for the NAACP ACT-SO STEM Competition — and they’re Chicago-bound this July! ✈️

These Tornadoes have been putting in the work: community service with ACT-SO, lab hours, and now some are representing Trenton, NJ on the national stage. From service projects in the 08609 to STEM excellence in Chicago, they’re showing what TCHS is made of. Congratulations to our students; Ciara Owens, Destiny Weldon, Henry Tharp, Troy Phillips, Willow Murray. Your hard work and dedication to making yourself and our program successful does not go unnoticed.

Set your alarms early TOMORROW morning, March 3! ⏰🌕

A total lunar eclipse aka a “Blood Moon” is happening early Tuesday morning, March 3 and it’s a good one.

For most of us across the U.S., the lunar show starts before sunrise with peak totality around the middle of the hour depending on your time zone. During peak, the Moon turns that deep copper red as Earth’s shadow completely covers it.

No telescope needed. Just step outside, look up, and give your eyes a minute to adjust. Clouds permitting, this one will be hard to miss! Drop me your pictures if you catch it!
