WOW what an amazing turnout at our meeting tonight!!!! If you are interested in a board position next year, email us at [email protected] with what spots you are interested in, OR any specific events you would like to volunteer with.

Tomorrow is our last meeting of the school year – We will meet in the Rissler Library at 5:30pm. For those who are new with us, once you park, enter through the main entrance and head downstairs to the library!

PTO is a group of parents who come together to discuss how to fundraise and meet the needs of students and staff, along with enriching their lives at school with fun activities. You don’t have to sign up – just show up to any meeting or event you can, and help fundraise!

Our meetings are really just informal get-togethers with parents and teachers, discussing this month’s topics and to-do list, and led by the board members.

At this meeting, we will be discussing:
PTO Board members for 2026 – 27
Teacher Appreciation – Supplies Needed
To-Do before August: T-shirt design, tax/non-profit filing, teacher grants
Looking Ahead: Fall Timeline

We would love to see more parent faces at our last meeting of the school year as we try to brainstorm how to keep this organization going for 2026 - 2027. We have had the same, small group of volunteers over the last 4 years trying to keep it alive - it is up in the air whether we will be able to do anything at all next year, so that will be our main discussion for the night along with plans for Teacher Appreciation Week.

We love seeing how much fun the kids have at Rissler Glow Parties! PTO purchased the black lights and banner last year and makes sure it's out and ready for them each time. It was definitely a great investment with how many memories it's created for students ❤️ If you have fun ideas for Rissler, we would love to have you involved with PTO!

Come to our first meeting of 2026 this Tuesday! If you think you might be interested in volunteering with PTO more next year, this would be a great time to test out the waters and see what we are all about 😊

We will be brainstorming teacher appreciation ideas and plans for the rest of the year into next year!

The PTO meeting tonight is CANCELLED for unforseen circumstances. The Title 1 meeting is still happening as planned. We are so sorry for this last minute change in the schedule!

WOW!!! Thank you to everyone who came to the Chili Supper last night - we had 191 people join us 😱 and that count might be low, because not all kids were counted! Thank you to the staff who worked the event and made it all possible ❤️ We were overjoyed to see everyone enjoying their meals at this community tradition.

We will be discussing ways to put our funds to use for to benefit our students, families, and school at our meeting on November 19! If you have ideas on this or anything else, we would love for your to come brainstorm with us that night 🎉
