We recently had a visit from Tyler Lancaster of the Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network. Tyler spoke with Ms. Carrie's Invasive Species class and then worked with the class to remove some Autumn Olive from our campus.

Thank you to all of the businesses who came out last Friday for our Touch-A-Truck event. The students had a great time learning about a variety of careers and especially enjoyed tasting our signature "Soaring Eagle Swirl" created just for us by Moomer's!

Primary students are having a blast learning about their interests in their elective classes. The offerings include Shelter Building; VEX Go Robotics; Log Hotel; Furry Friends; Fairy Houses, Michigan; Sewing; Crafting; Solar System; Dominoes; and Poetry. We are grateful to our many parent and grandparent volunteers who are sharing their interests and expertise with our students!

It’s a beautiful day to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Woodland School (formerly Traverse Bay Community School)! We’ll be here until 2pm so stop on by! It has been so wonderful to see so many faces, past and present, who have helped shape our school. 💚💛

Earlier this week our Journalism class took a trip to IPR, learning about meaningful journalism work in the real world. They even got to record a spot for the station! Thank you to IPR and Ed Ronco for hosting us, and to our very own Stephanie Pierce for making the connection for us. Experiential learning at its best!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Matilda, Jr.! They should be proud of the product of all of their hard work this trimester.
