Scouting Museum of Northern Michigan

Scouting Museum of Northern Michigan Highlighting the rich history of Scouting in northern Michigan. Once that is found, hours and tours will be available.

The museum is looking for and accepting donations of collections, patches, neckerchiefs, photos, newspaper clippings, flags, or anything that brings to life Scouting in the region. If it is Scouting related and has a northern Michigan connection, this museum looks to highlight it and also accept donations to add to the museum. Some of the areas that are to be highlighted include Camp Greilick, Camp Tapico, Camp Rotary, Indian Drum Lodge #152, Mischigonong Lodge #89, Ag-Im Lodge #156, Nakida Naou #401, Kepayshowing #89, tittabawasink #89, Wa Wa Esh Ki Chapter, Scenic Trails Council, Lake Huron Area Council, Hiawathaland Council, Paul Bunyan Area Council, any and all patches, neckerchiefs, camporee items, ribbons, photos, papers and much more. The museum is in located in Traverse City, Michigan, and is in search of a permanent location in the area at this time. Until then, we are cataloging and collecting items for display.

Happy to be working some great a great first Scouters working to preserve and properly display the history of Scouting at Camp Greilick. Some good things in the works for showing it off at Camp. Will keep you posted on how it goes as we came into winter months.
