Titan VEX Robotics Team 3767

Way to go Team!!

Team 3767X and their alliance partner Team 2446A from St. Francis High School were Tournament Champions at tonight's Northwest Michigan Tower Takeover Leagues. Team 3767Y were Tournament Finalists and were awarded the Design Award! This qualifies Team Y for the VRC State Championship!!

Both Teams Y & X will compete at the VRC State Championship this coming February 23rd.

Titan Robotics at sharing their passion for STEM. We are looking for community support to help our program for this year's season.

Our second annual Robotics spaghetti dinner and silent auction fundraiser is coming up on Nov. 23, 3-7 at the Mason Lodge. Ticket, $10, kids under 10 are free. Bring your kids for a cheap or free dinner, games, crafts, Xmas shopping at the silent auction, teach your kids how to run the robots, and more. Please pass this on so others know about this great community, family friendly event.

Want to know more about robotics and how it can help you be successful in the 21st century? Robotics students learn leadership skills, know how to work as a team, and can earn scholarships for their participation on robotics teams. Stop by the Robotics Open House at the Commons at West Senior High on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 6-8 to learn more.

Titan Robotics 2019 Traverse City West Robotics team

CONGRATULATIONS SENIORS!

Titan Robotics congratulates our awesome group of 2019 seniors! What an impressive run they have had over their past four years in FRC and VEX. During their freshman year, as members of our Rookie FRC Team 3886 they were the first ever Titan team to qualify for states on robot points. Their FRC and VEX teams were the first to simultaneously qualify for states all four years they were at West Senior High. Their FRC team was the first Titan team to qualify for the World Championships. Their VEX teams were also the first TCAPS teams to qualify for Worlds two years in a row and the first to win the State Design Award and State Robot Skills Championship. They have helped their FRC and VEX teams bring home a long list of awards and trophies including the Excellence, Chairmans, Build, Creativity, Safety, Industrial Design, Innovation in Controls, Design, Judges, Amaze, Robot Skills, and more!

These seniors have been incredible advocates for WSH robotics as they volunteered for community outreach and recruitment events, radio and TV interviews, speaking engagements, TCnewtech.org nights and VEX IQ events. They raised funds and secured sponsorships to ensure the sustainability of both programs. All of this while juggling and excelling in a wide range of other extra-curriculars and programs like band, choir, drama, Northwestern Michigan College classes, Math Club, sailing team, 4-H, Academic World Quest, and Manufacturing Technology Academy courses and competitions.

So proud that all of our Titan team members are now headed off to follow their passions through studying a variety of STEM related fields around the state.

Congrats to Junior Gracie Noller on being selected for a Michigan Tech University's Women in Automotive Engineering Competitive Scholarship Program. The program will be held on the campus of Michigan Tech University during the week of June 16th.
