CONGRATULATIONS SENIORS!
Titan Robotics congratulates our awesome group of 2019 seniors! What an impressive run they have had over their past four years in FRC and VEX. During their freshman year, as members of our Rookie FRC Team 3886 they were the first ever Titan team to qualify for states on robot points. Their FRC and VEX teams were the first to simultaneously qualify for states all four years they were at West Senior High. Their FRC team was the first Titan team to qualify for the World Championships. Their VEX teams were also the first TCAPS teams to qualify for Worlds two years in a row and the first to win the State Design Award and State Robot Skills Championship. They have helped their FRC and VEX teams bring home a long list of awards and trophies including the Excellence, Chairmans, Build, Creativity, Safety, Industrial Design, Innovation in Controls, Design, Judges, Amaze, Robot Skills, and more!
These seniors have been incredible advocates for WSH robotics as they volunteered for community outreach and recruitment events, radio and TV interviews, speaking engagements, TCnewtech.org nights and VEX IQ events. They raised funds and secured sponsorships to ensure the sustainability of both programs. All of this while juggling and excelling in a wide range of other extra-curriculars and programs like band, choir, drama, Northwestern Michigan College classes, Math Club, sailing team, 4-H, Academic World Quest, and Manufacturing Technology Academy courses and competitions.
So proud that all of our Titan team members are now headed off to follow their passions through studying a variety of STEM related fields around the state.
