Traverse City West Tennis

Traverse City West Tennis Tennis is one of the most challenging sports that can be played, both mentally and physically.

Traverse City West Boys Tennis is played in the fall, from mid-August to mid-October. Girls tennis is in the Spring, beginning in mid-March through May. Our mission is to teach young adults about becoming good people, through practicing good routine, making smart and healthy choices, and through sportsmanship, camaraderie and competition. At the high school level, it is an individual sport as well as a team sport. This game tests an athlete in many ways, and to compete at a high school level, one must balance preparation, perseverance, patience, and passion.

The winning ways continue. Doubles continue their tough play. Patrick Elmquest, Finn Bauer, and the team of Hunter Wilson/Owen Jongekrijg all pulled out wins in extra sets to bring home the victory 6-2 for West. Shoutout to our 5 doubles team of Leo Kohler and Logan Mead and their victory today too!
