WHAT. A. MORNING. 🎤🔥

Today we had the incredible opportunity to welcome @ SkyeLea back to East Middle School — this time not as a student, but as a professional artist performing LIVE on Trojan TV!

And she absolutely brought it. ❤️

This morning was the kickoff to a really special collaboration between our EMS Digital Media & Communication students, The Alluvion, and the artists behind A Night of Soul, Dance & Rhythm coming this November.

A huge THANK YOU to SkyeLea for sharing her talent, her story, her energy — and her time — with our students today. There is something pretty powerful about watching a former Trojan come back and show our kids where creativity, hard work and a willingness to put yourself out there can take you.

And a huge thank you to Jeff Haas and The Alluvion for opening the door to this experience and believing in what our young journalists can do. Our students aren't just promoting an event — they're getting the chance to learn alongside working artists and media professionals, create real content for a real audience, and be part of something happening in their own community.

Oh, and one more thing…

A Night of Soul, Dance & Rhythm is officially SOLD OUT! 🎉

🏃‍♀️ TROJAN 7TH GRADE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 🏃‍♀️

Congratulations to Audrianna Haag (Girls Cross Country), our 7th Grade Trojan Athlete of the Week!

Audrianna has worked hard all summer and become one of our top runners. She really stepped up in the Titan Takeoff meet on Sept 12. She has already beaten her personal best from last year in just her first meet. She is a positive force and supportive teammate!

🏐 TROJAN 8TH GRADE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK 🏐

Congratulations to Lilah Walter (Volleyball), our 8th Grade Trojan Athlete of the Week!

Lilah has shown major growth over the past year and stands out as a strong passer on her team. You can tell she has the passion for volleyball and wants to continue improving her skills as an athlete. It's great to be able to depend on her skill set in different areas of the court this early in the season.

TCAPS offers free breakfast and lunch at every building, every school day! 🍎🥪

TCAPS Food and Nutrition Services reminds parents and students that breakfast is served daily before the start of the school day. Secondary buildings serve breakfast in the cafeterias, while elementary buildings provide a convenient "Grab & Go" option for students to enjoy in their classrooms or cafeterias. TCAPS encourages every student to take advantage of free breakfast each morning to ensure they have the energy needed to excel.

The Trojans had a fantastic showing on Saturday, September 12!

🥇 Boys: 1st place with 36 points
🥈 Girls: 2nd place with 29 points
