Traverse City East Middle School - TCAPS

They did it! Northstorm '12 Boys White soccer team won the Great Lakes President's Cup this weekend in Grand Park, Indiana securing their bid to Nationals. As USYS regional winners, the team heads to the National Presidents Cup in Wichita, KS in July to vie for the National Title.

Congratulations to James Crigier, Austin Marek, Brennan Fetters, Sam Keller, Constantine Rajah and Gerritt Johnston on this monumental win. The future of TC Central soccer is bright. Way to go, Trojans!!

Another great year at East Middle School is in the books!

Thank you to all of our students for making this year so special. We are especially proud of our 8th graders and grateful to their parents for an amazing three years together.

As our Trojan students head off to Central High School, we wish them a fun and relaxing summer and continued success in this exciting next chapter.

7th grade honors science students completed honors projects to take their science class to the next level. There were many options for what they could have chosen and the topics directly connected to their learning during the 26-27 school year. The ones seen here include experiments, research projects, and working models from 7th graders Miles Smith, Lillian Henner, Brielle Rider, Reagan Bulloch, Evan Lillie, Emily MacArthur, Danielle Summers, Harvey Rogers, Claire Coatney and Jackson Howe.

🏅 Trojan Athlete of the Week – Tripp Gle 🏅

Congratulations to Tripp Gle on an absolutely dominant 2026 track and field season!

Tripp went undefeated in the 70m, 100m, and 200m dash, winning every race he entered and establishing himself as one of Michigan's top middle school sprinters.

🥇 100m Dash: 11.49
🥇 200m Dash: 23.37

Tripp closed out his season at MEGASTAR 2026, one of Michigan's largest middle school track and field competitions featuring 191 teams, by sweeping all three sprint titles:

🏆 70m Champion – 8.36 (PB)
🏆 100m Champion – 11.73
🏆 200m Champion – 23.48

His performance helped lead the Traverse City East Trojans to the MEGASTAR Large Division Team Championship and highlighted the hard work, dedication, and excellence that define Trojan Athletics.
