RosaDale Farm is home base for It's Sew Ewe. I like to promote and embrace living in Northern Michigan and all it has to offer. We have long winters, our summers are exquisite, spring is rejuvenation, and fall is indescribable. I have a small hobby farm that is the basis of my obsession with fiber arts. The area offers many diverse, small farms that are homes to huacaya and suri alpacas, olde engl

How about we meet up and do a little spinning, maybe a little sipping, while having a whole lot of fun?
has warmly invited local yarn spinners to join them, starting Wednesday, June 28, from 6-8 pm, to Spin In. Going forward, it will be the last Wednesday each month. How cool is that? No need to sign up. Just show up! Yes? Well, I hope to see you there 😘

Are you interested in learning the mad skill of spinning yarn on a wheel?
I’m back in the game and have scheduled with a beginning spinning class for Thursday, June 15, 2023, 5-9 pm.
What’s that? You say you don’t own a wheel? We have you covered. You can reserve a wheel for class when you sign up!
Go to LeelanauFiber.com to lock in your spot and I’ll bring the fiber 😉
Friends, it’s time to create your own 🧶 and I’m very excited for you. 🙌

Happy Easter 🐰
Every August at the MI FF I purchase fiber from one of my favorite dyers, Jenni of Winterhaven Fiber Farm. Her fiber is easily spun woolen or worsted and the prices are really, really affordable. This is 4 oz, Falkland, 460 yards, sport-DK weight, spun woolen and it was $10!!! Kicking myself for not buying a SQ of this colorway, Rosebud. 🤩 Each year she offers different color ways and blends. As far as I know, she has no website or social media presence. Just a phone number on the tagged fiber. 🤷♀️

Happy March! 🌼
This was my February project for the shop. Pattern is Cotton Daisies. I’ll share soon what it looks like, quilted with rulerwork. Sew fun 🤩 I’ll most likely be teaching a class on this.
Get out and enjoy the sunshine ☀️

Did a little rigid heddle weaving this past week. Fun Fact: it really puts a dent in your stash and enables you to use up lots of odds and ends ❤️ Love my loom.

Working on the January bingo card, I found 8.5 oz of “Color Pop” top that’s been in my stash a couple years. Carded it to change the prep and freshen up the color play. How fun is this? 💥 Everything old is new again. Mittens or a hat maybe? 🤷♀️
