RosaDale Farm is home base for It's Sew Ewe. I like to promote and embrace living in Northern Michigan and all it has to offer. We have long winters, our summers are exquisite, spring is rejuvenation, and fall is indescribable. I have a small hobby farm that is the basis of my obsession with fiber arts. The area offers many diverse, small farms that are homes to huacaya and suri alpacas, olde english babydoll sheep, and emperial tibetan yaks. The farmers need a way to market their sustainable fiber to the consumer and have sought me out to help them with that task. So our mission is to do that in an effective, efficient manner. Show the public the wonders of the animals, the quality and usability of the fiber in home decor/wearables and the commitment of the farmers in the care and selection of their critters Thank you for stopping by. Interests: I care a great deal about small farms in Northern Michigan and sustainable fiber, so I spin and knit with eco-friendly fiber/yarn in textures and colors that will make you happy. Every August at the MI FF I purchase fiber from one of my favorite dyers, Jenni of Winterhaven Fiber Farm. Her fiber is easily spun woolen or worsted and the prices are really, really affordable. This is 4 oz, Falkland, 460 yards, sport-DK weight, spun woolen and it was $10!!! Kicking myself for not buying a SQ of this colorway, Rosebud. 🤩 Each year she offers different color ways and blends. As far as I know, she has no website or social media presence. Just a phone number on the tagged fiber. 🤷‍♀️

Working on the January bingo card, I found 8.5 oz of “Color Pop” top that’s been in my stash a couple years. Carded it to change the prep and freshen up the color play. How fun is this? 💥 Everything old is new again. Mittens or a hat maybe? 🤷‍♀️
