Open Waters Louisiana is a mentorship program started by the Crescent River Port Pilots’ Association and New Orleans – Baton Rouge Steamship Pilots Association. The mission is to share the wealth of career opportunities in Louisiana’s maritime industry– beyond jobs exclusive to the river–with young men and women from all backgrounds and vocations who carry a sense of duty, an understanding of true responsibility, and a desire to get paid doing meaningful work with their lives. "Application for Women Offshore's Career Development Program is officially open!
Currently open to US citizens, the Women Offshore Foundation Career Development Program will take applicants through a 1-month personal development series that will ask tough questions to determine suitability for an exciting career in the maritime or offshore industries.
Once accepted into the program, candidates will build a roadmap to success with our program coordinator. The program will cover costs associated with obtaining entry level credentials."

There is no charge for cadets and you will have access to the tradeshow and exciting professional development speakers.

May 21st - Women Offshore is hosting a career day / job fair. While this is a Women Offshore event, everyone is invited to attend!
Attendees will be able to attend panel discussions and exhibitor booths, network with companies, hear from recruiting experts, and learn about what it takes to stand out in the job application process for success.
They are still in the process of confirming companies to recruit and already have several onboard, including Transocean, Foss, Crowley, Kongsberg, Mercy Ships, Atlas Professionals, and APM Terminals.
