Public Montessori School TCAPS is one of the few public school districts in the state that offers a public Montessori program.
The Montessori philosophy emphasizes a child-centered environment that develops character, skills, and independent learning. Children can freely choose from a number of developmentally appropriate activities taught by certified Montessori instructors to meet curricular goals. TCAPS Montessori at Glenn Loomis offers a toddler program (ages 18-36 months), primary program (ages 3-5) and an elementary program (ages 6-12).

Each year on the last day of school, we celebrate our retirees and 8th-grade class with a special clap-out. We are grateful for the contributions of Mrs Vogel and proud of all that our 8th graders have accomplished. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for each of you!

Mrs Smith truly outdid herself this year! When our students asked to do the Waka Waka during Open Music, she enthusiastically made it happen - and even turned it into a fun challenge for our final HOWL Assembly.
Thank you to all of the families who supported this challenge and helped make it such a memorable experience for our students.

The TCAPS Sunshine Bus is entering its fourth year of partnership with the Father Fred Foundation to provide free food and essentials to students throughout the summer months. New this year, the Sunshine Bus will offer enrichment activities at each stop. Weekly themes include “Summer Reading: Let the Games Begin, Growing Takes Time: Midsummer Planting, and Three, Two, One: Blast Off Back to School!” For more information including the Sunshine Bus Summer Route Schedule, please visit www.tcaps.net/sunshine.
