Our final Graduate Spotlight for our “Hall of Fame” Sr Class of 2026 is Kathryn Wonacott! She is a graduate who leaves a lasting impression on everyone, combining academic honors (Kathryn is a graduate of Elk Rapids HS) & so many Dancer Honors earned throughout the years. During her time in our program, her presence, inspired dancing & kindness made each day brighter for all of us @ DAA & CDT. Kathryn says that one of her favorite moments was “our group gatherings in the dennos museum dressing rooms before shows & the pre-show excitement!” Kathryn was accepted (many with Scholarships) to 26 + elite level colleges! She is thrilled to be starting her Freshman year @ The University of Michigan majoring in Occupational Therapy with a minor in Dance. We are incredibly proud to celebrate her achievements and look forward to seeing her beautiful future unfold. Congratulations Kathryn! 💙💛

****Our 1st Graduate Spotlight is on our incredible Eden Mroczkowski!! Eden is already @ Bowling Green University majoring in Marine Biology & minoring in Dance! She earned many scholarships to attend BGSU & is a graduate of Grand Traverse Academy. Eden’s leadership, kindness, ability to remember details, along with her beautiful dancing earned her one of our “Dancer’s of the Year” Scholarships this season. Eden says, “It has been an honor to dance with CDT.. it has taught me so many important lessons and has been a constant source of happiness.” We’ve loved having you as such a very special part of who we are, Eden Sweden. You are so loved & so missed. ❤️

It’s HOMECOMING week & CDT!! These stunning alumns are so very special!! They all had big dreams, worked so hard in our studios growing up & are making those dreams come true! What incredible role models they are for our dancers! They have so much to share & we are so very grateful they came home to teach & choreograph alongside our amazing year round Faculty. Slides 1, 5, 9 Abigail Forbes (currently dancing professionally with Spartanburg Ballet, has also danced with Grand Rapids Ballet, Kansas City Ballet & Oklahoma City Ballet. Award winning choreographer currently teaching in Spartanburg.)

Slides 2, 6, 10 Maddy Falconer (Artistic Director & Founder of Woodworks/Falco Dance Co., Graduate of USC Kaufman Dance Program, award winning choreographer creating works for Professional Companies as well as studios throughout the US.)

Slides 3, 7, 11 Chloe Steele (Erwin) (Sr Dance Major on full scholarship @ The University of Michigan) Chloe has been choreographing award winning work since she was 14, and spent this summer training with Ballet X, and teaching @ Company C in Toledo.)

We are BACK this week! & our amazing year round Faculty & wonderful Alumni are HOME & ready to share! We are honored & excited to curate a Summer Intensive with so many Professional Artists & Educators that are so invested in the growth of each dancer. Swipe for the schedule & some beautiful pics of our Faculty for next week. We feel strongly that one of many ways to determine the success of a studio is shown by the Alumni who are happy dancing professionally & continue to come home & give back to our next generation.
