✈️ We'd love to take our Aviation Maintenance students on a field trip they won't forget!

The best hands-on experience is over at a hangar in Oscoda, Michigan — about 2.5 hours away. That means we need a bus big enough to carry 34 students and a few staff members, plus lunch to keep everyone fueled for the full day of travel, touring, and heading back home.

Any support helps make this trip possible for our students. Thank you!

Never Forget – September 11, 2001

Today we honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on 9/11, and the first responders and aviation professionals who answered the call.

As an aviation maintenance school, we carry that legacy forward — every inspection and repair we teach reflects the vigilance and care needed to keep the skies safe.

Cohort 5 after a month into the school year finally got some time in the hangar! You could feel the buzz of excitement and activity! We are now recruiting for next class Cohort 6 starts in August of 2027!

Today the EAA (who is a huge supporter of our school) brought over a North American T-28C Trojan for our students to see! They got to chat with the pilots, fellow mechanics and aviation enthusiasts! What a way to kick off school!

And just like that, our first week of school has flown by 34 new students have started on their path of earning their A&P License! Meet Cohort 5 our newest and brightest students! Wish them luck as they begin General Aviation!

On August 7th, 2026, Legacy Aviation Learning Center gained 25 more graduates! A year of hard work and dedication to get where they are today... some going off to Kalitta, some leaving us for Ohio and Republic Air, some I believe are heading to Alaska! Whatever adventures they move on to they are now Alumni and we can't wait to have them back to the school and find out where are they now?
