🧺 👔👖 What is this “whole child approach to education” we preach? It’s about growing more than just the mind … it’s about remembering that part of raising up a generation is ensuring we have invested in the growth of their mind, heart, and hands so that students can reach their full potential, ready to serve one another and contribute meaningfully to society.

Life Skills class wrapped up their laundry unit with proper folding techniques. As a fun conclusion, we learned how to turn ordinary towels into elephants and teddy bears! … because who knows when you might need a terry cloth elephant in your bathroom! 🐘 🧸

☀️ A fresh start to a new week! ☀️ Our morning huddle isn’t just about gathering the students - it’s about gathering our community. Kids sitting shoulder-to-shoulder, teachers pouring into them, friends encouraging friends, students praying over our school, saluting the flag in a pledge of allegiance, and everyone beginning the day together in a place where they can learn, grow, and belong.

This is what school should feel like. 🤎

Today launched our 3rd school year at Anchored Oak and it was so exciting to watch the many students as they discovered all that’s waiting for them! 🤎🌱

This class was introduced to their related arts opportunities with Ms. Richardson, and you could feel the excitement in the room. Our students discover what they’re capable of while also discovering who they are called to be. We want them to learn with their heads, love with their hearts, and serve with their hands.

We consider it such a blessing to share Anchored Oak Farm with our community! Field trips give us the chance to provide experiences in nature, with animals, and a whole world of agriculture. We raise livestock, grow produce in gardens and orchards, but the farming we are really passionate about?… GROWING THE HEARTS, HANDS, & MINDS OF CHILDREN through the joys of the farm!
