🍌 Today at BCA, we had the sweetest excuse to celebrate! Our students enjoyed delicious banana (or banana free) splits, lots of smiles, and just the right amount of whipped cream chaos.

🍦 We’re pretty sure everyone is coming home with a sugar rush!

Mrs. Parker’s 4th and 5th grade history class has been studying early American history, so to bring the lesson to life, they got to experience a tiny taste of colonial life firsthand! 🇺🇸📚

The students sampled dried cod and dried apples—two foods that would have been familiar to many early American settlers. Let’s just say… based on some of their reactions, a few of them might not have made it through their first winter! 😂

History is always more fun when you can taste it! 😅
