⭐️ Student Spotlight: Isa Allen ⭐️
At the 2026 iJAG Career Development Conference (CDC) this spring, Isa earned 1st Place in the Employability Skills competition after participating in a mock interview and answering questions from judges in a welcoming, low-stress environment. Isa also traveled to Salt Lake City to compete at JAG National Career Development Conference (NCDC), where she earned 9th place nationally in the same competition category.
Preparing for the competitions helped Isa strengthen her communication and public speaking skills while learning the importance of being ready for unexpected interview questions. Through her iJAG experience, she gained confidence speaking with adults and discovered a passion for teaching as a potential career path.
Isa plans to use the skills she developed through her internship and interview experiences to stand out in future job interviews. She describes iJAG as an educational experience that helped her build the soft skills she'll carry with her for years to come.
