Today we read the book It Looked Like Spilled Milk, a fun and imaginative book that encouraged creativity and critical thinking.
To make the story even more interactive, we used a felt board during the reading. The children were able to visually connect with the characters and scenes, which helped them actively participate by identifying and placing the felt pieces. This hands-on activity supported their development of fine motor skills, language, and storytelling abilities.
We also got creative, after the story, we used blue paper and white paint to make our own “spilled milk.” The children used their hands exploring texture and experimenting with painting, while reinforcing the story’s theme.
