During the National Qualifiers, 6 of our team members managed to qualify for the National Tournament, which will be held at Ft. Lauderdale, Florida this year! What a feat for this team’s third year of existence, qualifying for the National Tournament two years in a row! Congratulations to the following:

Ashley Morales for placing 2nd and qualifying in Original Oratory
Jared Hoffart and Nasier Muldrow for placing 2nd and qualifying in Public Forum Debate
Vivek Vanga and Edgar Mercado for placing 3rd in Public Forum and will be competing in World Schools Debate
Kyle Hoffart for placing 3rd and qualifying in Lincoln Douglas Debate

Jenisha Joshua and Alli Jones, 6th place in Duo Interpretation
Katie LaBelle, 3rd place in Dramatic Interpretation
Crioni Love Cuenca, 2nd in Informative speaking and 3rd in Original Oratory

Chris Silva placed 1st in Novice Lincoln Douglas Debate with a record of 3-0

Vivek Vanga and Savina Compston tied for 3rd place in Novice Impromptu.
Crioni placed 2nd in Varsity Expos.
Ashley Alvarez placed 3rd in Varsity Original Oratory.
Jared Hoffart placed 2nd in Varsity Impromptu and 3rd in Varsity Congress.
Twila Cuenca and Yvette Carrillo-Bernal placed 3rd in Varsity Duo.
Vivek Vanga and Nasier Muldrow placed 1st in Novice Parliamentary Debate with a record of 3-0.
