On , we remember the news of emancipation finally reached enslaved people in Texas in 1865βmore than two years after President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation. This day stands as a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice and equality.β€οΈππ
Guided by our School's core values of faith, integrity, service, community, and leadership, we recognize that each person is uniquely gifted by God. We strive to learn from our pasts, give praise for the rich diversity of God's people, and support the continued pursuit of respect for all as brothers and sisters in Christ.
Many blessings upon our communities on this national holiday of remembrance.π
