🏆💙 National Champion Alert! 💙🏆
Congratulations to NDP alumna Erika Ezumba '22 on an unforgettable finish to her collegiate career!
Erika made history by becoming the first hammer throw national champion in program history for Johns Hopkins Athletics. Erika unleashed a personal-best throw of 60.11 meters to capture the NCAA Division III national title, shattering both the Johns Hopkins and Centennial Conference records. Her mark stands as the best throw in Division III this season and ranks as the 10th-best performance in Division III history.
Erika's championship performance also helped lead the Blue Jays to a third-place team finish at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
We are incredibly proud of Erika's dedication, perseverance, and historic achievement. Congratulations on an outstanding career and a well-deserved national title! 💙

We kickoff this week's reunion spotlight with the Class of 1961, many dressed proudly in their class colors of red and white. Classmates gathered at the Country Club of Maryland to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the special connection they have shared for decades. Many also joined us on campus for the Jubilarian Brunch and Liturgy on Friday, May 1, making the weekend even more meaningful.

Today, we pause in gratitude and prayer as we remember the brave women and men who gave their lives in service to our country, especially those in our NDP community. May we honor their sacrifice, cherish their memory, and keep their loved ones in our hearts today and always.

A heartfelt thank you to Alumnae Board members, Celie Neville '70 and Sam Constantine Sullivan '08 for joining us at the Head of School Brunch this past Thursday as we officially welcomed the Class of 2026 into the NDP Alumnae Association!
Their presence was a beautiful reminder that being a Blazer doesn’t end at graduation — it is a lifelong connection rooted in sisterhood, support, and shared experiences.
From returning to campus for special traditions to giving back through service and leadership, our alumnae play such an important role in keeping the spirit of NDP alive for future generations.
Congratulations to the incredible Class of 2026 on your upcoming graduation! We cannot wait to see all the ways you will continue the legacy of NDP for years to come. 🎓✨

The new Huffman Commons will open around the same time as members of the Class of 2026 step onto new campuses to begin college life. Yet, the spirit of the Class of Blue and Orange will forever be present at Notre Dame Prep through one very special gift.
Thanks to what is considered NDP’s largest senior class gift ever, the Class of 2026 will have the Huffman Commons café area named in their honor. Featuring banquet seating, a coffee bar, and grab-n-go nibbles, the Class of 2026 Student Café promises to be one of the most used and enjoyed spaces in the new commons.
