As Transgender Awareness Week comes to end, it is important to recognize all the work that has been done and all of the people that are here because of that work. It is also important to recognize that there is always more work to be done and it will never be complete. But as the name of the week suggests, we want to bring awareness to the trans community and celebrate the highs while recognizing the lows. To end the week on a high note, here are some trans folks that have made history in 2019.
