Looking to add to your holiday playlist? Go to your favorite streaming service and check out TU econ alum Aaron Bayne ('19) and The Trills' latest EP "Like It's Christmas." Loving their version of Santa Clause is Coming to Town! Aaron is their beatboxer so when you listen keep in mind that there are no instruments, just voice. And did you hear that they performed at the Ravens' halftime this weekend? Mind blown.

Newly published research by Towson University economists reveals how the coronavirus pandemic has unequally impacted high and low income communities. For example, the mandated lockdowns were less effective in slowing the spread of the virus in low income communities, perhaps because people in these communities are more likely to be considered essential workers or have fewer resources necessary to stay at home. The research was conducted by Vinish Shrestha together with colleagues James Manley and Juergen Jung. Their paper has been published in the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization.
