MBRT is excited to announce that applications are open for the 2026–2027 Student Ambassador Program.

Now entering its ninth year, the Student Ambassador Program helps Maryland high school students develop leadership, advocacy, public speaking, entrepreneurship, and professional skills while connecting with peers and leaders from across the state.

Through virtual sessions, special events, and collaborative discussions, students gain valuable experience while helping elevate student voice in conversations about education and opportunity.

The future workforce has a voice, and we're listening.

At the MBRT 2026 Annual Meeting, students from across Maryland will join business and education leaders to share their perspectives on college, careers and the opportunities that have helped shape their goals for the future.

As we explore this year's theme, "Student-Centered. Business-Ready.", attendees will hear firsthand from the young people who will lead Maryland's future workforce.

For many students, summer is a time to recharge. For MBRT's Next Generation Scholars, it was also a time to build momentum for the future.

Through summer experiences including NextGen NextLevel, College Bootcamp, and Summer of Service, students spent their break exploring careers, developing leadership skills, preparing for college applications, connecting with professionals, and giving back to their communities.

These experiences help students enter the new school year with increased confidence, stronger support systems, and a clearer understanding of their goals.
