Sometimes nature creates moments so beautiful they feel almost unreal. In a split second, photographer Christian Spencer captured sunlight passing through a hummingbird’s wings, revealing colors and patterns normally invisible to the human eye. It looks less like a photograph and more like a glimpse into another dimension.
Moments like this remind us how much beauty exists around us that we rarely slow down enough to notice. The world is still filled with wonder — hidden in birds, forests, oceans, sunsets, and tiny details we rush past every day.
Maybe awe is medicine for the soul. Because when we pause long enough to truly admire creation, even for a moment, life stops feeling so heavy. And we remember there is still magic here worth protecting.

“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.”

Go into the arts. I'm not kidding. The arts are not a way to make a living. They are a very human way of making life more bearable. Practicing an art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow, for heaven's sake. Sing in the shower. Dance to the radio. Tell stories. Write a poem to a friend, even a lousy poem. Do it as well as you possibly can. You will get an enormous reward. You will have created something. ~Kurt Vonnegut

“I allow myself to hope that the world will emerge from its present troubles, that it will one day learn to give the direction of its affairs, not to cruel swindlers and scoundrels, but to men possessed of wisdom and courage. I see before me a shining vision: a world where none are hungry, where few are ill, where work is pleasant and not excessive, where kindly feeling is common, and where minds released from fear create delight for eye, ear and heart. Do not say this is impossible. It is not impossible. I do not say it can be done tomorrow, but I do say that it could be done within a thousand years, if only men would bend their minds to the achievement of the kind of happiness that should be distinctive of man.“

"February 10 heralds the dawn of the Lunar New Year, signaling the arrival of the Yang Wood Dragon! Within the Chinese zodiac, the Dragon occupies a revered position, renowned for its ability to navigate across water, air, and earth, transcending even the boundaries between worlds.
(I love this dynamic energy so much !!!!)
Representing both strength and valor, the Dragon is not merely a symbol of power but also a beacon of serenity. This year invites bold initiatives, personal growth, and the pursuit of new beginnings." To read more hit the link foreverconscious.com
