Congratulations to the students that completed the Honors College and Writing Center spring writing groups! Each student regularly attended writing group meetings with an experienced facilitator to work on assignments for their Honors 370 class.
The Honors College (Dr. Terry Cooney and Dr. Alison McCartney) and the Writing Center’s Assistant Director (Dr. Carmen Meza) are thrilled to offer students this program. Many thanks to the writing center’s facilitators who made this possible: Jordan McConville, Ian Lenhardt, and Joey Pennington.
Students that completed the program were Abigail Billovits-Hayes, Charna Williams, Bethany Fuss, Ayisha Kashmiri, London Brooks, Julianne Guevarra, and Nia Marneris.
Faculty partners included Dr. Seth Gitter, College of Business and Economics/Economics, Dr. Tim Jankowiak, College of Liberal Arts/Philosophy, and Dr. Akim Reinhardt, College of Liberal Arts/History. Thank you for a wonderful collaboration.

The Writing Center and the Honors College collaborated this semester to offer students taking Honors 370 a writing group! Abigail Billovits-Hayes and Phoebe H. Calkins were awarded a certificate for completing the fall program for Dr. Terry Cooney’s class. Congratulations, Abigail and Phoebe!
